Who We Are

A little about Culloden-Balloch Baptist Church

Who are we?

We are a friendly church on the east side of Inverness who are committed to following after Jesus together. This is in our DNA as church. We are a gathering of people from all ages and stages of life.

Culloden-Balloch is an evangelical church which means that we take the Bible seriously. We are an independent church which means that the church is governed locally and so does and will continue to have a local flavour.

Balloch, Inverness and the Highlands is our home and we want to love and serve the people that live in this area. We believe that God’s love can transform lives and therefore communities, and we want to see that happening in the place that we live.

We’d love you to join us any Sunday at 10.30am or every first and third Sunday at 6.30pm or for one of our many mid-week activities. You can find out more about what’s on and when in our Programme and Church Calendar.

Our Vision

Our vision is to excel in following after Jesus and to help others do the same. This is why we are here and it drives everything that we do. The output of this church is fundamentally disciples, followers of Jesus Christ.

We don’t exist to simply have services or to just gather together but rather to make and grow disciples. However, we are open and welcome for everyone to come in and see what we’re all about. Whether you’ve never been to church before, or it’s been a long time, you’d be welcome along.

Our affiliations

We are a member church of the Baptist Union of Scotland – a fellowship of churches supporting one another in sharing the good news of Jesus throughout Scotland.

Our Pastor, Kenny Ross is also a member of the FIEC, The Fellowship of Independant Evangelical Churches.
