Life at CBBC

Community is the context for discipleship. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation; we were made for relationship with God and for relationship with each other. We belong not merely to a local church, but to a people.

The life of the church can be a busy one, with activities throughout the week for the church family to spend time together.

Sunday Worship at CBBC

Sunday is our favourite day of the week at CBBC as we gather together, to learn from God’s word, to sing in worship together and to share a time of fellowship with each other.

If you’ve never been to church before, or if it’s been a while – we’d love to make you welcome at any of our events and services.

A range of age specific activities also take place on a Sunday, and in days throughout the week.

Crèche

During every Sunday morning service we run a supervised crèche which is a safe and friendly environment with lots of toys where parents can safely leave babies and toddlers up to 3 years old.

Contact Amy Macdonald for more info.

Wellside Café

Each Wednesday morning we open the café area and welcome everyone to come and enjoy tea, coffee, bacon rolls, pancakes and home baking.  Mums with babies, seniors, church members, friends and neighbours are all assured of a warm welcome and can enjoy each others company. Café open from 9.30 to 12 noon.

Youth Fellowship

The YF meets in the Church on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 6.30pm.  All secondary school age youth are welcome to come along and meet for a time of fun and instruction in living a life of faith.  The YF make a huge contribution to the life of the church from serving tea and coffee after services to leading the occasional Sunday evening service.

Prayer Meetings

Most Wednesday evenings we meet for prayer in the church meeting room from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.    We also have a prayer team available after each service to talk and pray with individuals in confidence and a dedicated e-mail address for prayer requests.

Community Lunch

On the first Friday of each month (except Jan, Jul and Aug) we open the building to the local community for a delicious lunch of soup, scones, tea or coffee and delicious home baking.   Everyone is welcome and we do make a small charge for this.
