Many of Eritrea’s current prisoners of faith have never been formally charged or brought to court but instead they’re detained arbitrarily. Pray that officials will heed the international outcry about this injustice – and release them.
Publishing news of Eritrean prisoners Is potentially harmful to the prisoner and those with whom he or she is held. Pray that the appalling truth about prisoners’ experiences will continue to be made known so that Eritrea can be held to account for its terrible human rights record.
This Sunday is our 21st church anniversary. We will have a morning service at the usual time of 10.30 which will be followed by a bring and share buffet lunch to which everyone is invited. After lunch we will have a short time of worship when Kenny and the elders will share something of the history of the church and their vision of the future. The start time of this afternoon service is flexible but will be when lunch is over and probably around 2.15. We will aim to be finished by 3pm and there will be no evening service. Do try and come along and be part of this special day, and as ever visitors are very welcome! ... See MoreSee Less
