We believe that a healthy church community has a strong missional focus. We therefore lay a lot of emphasis upon home and foreign mission and aim to give at least a fifth of our general income to mission. In order to encourage mission in our church family we budget to provide some grants for short term mission work and our own young people on summer camp and Gap Year
These are some of our mission connections;

Tommie Mackay
The building is commonly known as the Christian Youth Centre or CYC. Tommie works tirelessly for the young people in and around our city.
The YMCA in Inverness provides a large youth activity space and a community cafe along with various meeting and group work rooms. Inverness YMCA rebranded as CYC (Christian Youth Centre) some years ago to reflect the Christian basis of the organisation.

Tearfund - Cambodia
Christian action with the world’s poor. According to the World Bank, rural poverty remains a big challenge in Cambodia, with 90 per cent of the country’s poor living in the countryside.

Highland Theological College
HTC offers opportunities to study theology courses at all levels either on-campus or by distance learning. It is an Evangelical, Reformed, non-denominational College.

Baptist Union
Baptists are Christians who belong to the worlds largest mainstream Protestant denomination. They are to be found in over 200 countries throughout the world.

BMS Missionaries
The Baptist Churches in Inverness Area have a link to a couple of BMS missionaries who are working overseas at the moment but for reasons of confidentiality we are unable to name them on the wesbite.
